View DetailsDuring this time network expansion work will take place in House E, during which APs will be installed in apartments with poor wifi coverage.
The monitoring system is being updated on thursday. During this time, monitoring notifications are disabled to avoid false positive notifications. We are monitoring the health of the network manually during this time.
As part of our regular maintenance, we will be migrating some virtual machines onto different VM hosts. Therefore these VMs need to be shut down in this timeframe and the following functions are partially or fully unavailable
As part of our regular maintenance, all network switches in our network will receive firmware updates in the following days. To finish the installation and enabling the new firmware version each switch needs to be rebootet, which will happen on thursday evening.
Typically this should not impact network performance and accessibility, as most of our switches feature redundant management modules, but please be prepared for some minor network outages.

Some video storage servers will be updated to a new version of their operating system in this time and a restart to apply the update is required, which will impact availability.
In this timeframe updates of the status page will be installed and a restart of the webspace is necessary. Which should only impact accessing this page for a short period of time.

There was an electrical fault in ProPhiS 1 due to work on electrical installations. This caused a total network outage in all ProPhiS houses.
